Frequently Asked Questions

• What level of yoga experience is required?
All levels are welcome — truly. Each class is designed to support you whether you practise regularly or you’re just starting out. The only thing that helps is being comfortable putting some weight on your wrists (in all-fours and downward dog), as these shapes come up often. I always offer variations, so you can move in a way that feels right for your body.

• How challenging are the hikes?
Our hikes are gentle to moderate, taken at a relaxed, conversational pace. We are in the mountains, so the trails naturally go up and down, but we take plenty of breaks and enjoy the scenery as we go. If you’re comfortable walking for a couple of hours with some inclines, you’ll be absolutely fine.

• Can you accommodate dietary requirements or allergies?
Yes, absolutely. Our chefs are wonderful and can cater for most dietary needs — just let us know when you book, and we’ll take care of the rest. Food is a big part of the retreat experience, and we want you to feel nourished and safe.

• Is coffee available during the retreat?
Yes — good coffee! You’ll find it at breakfast each morning, and herbal teas are available throughout the day.

• Is alcohol available on the retreat?
We don’t serve alcohol during the retreat. This time is designed to nourish your body and mind, help you reset, and support deeper rest — and most guests find they really appreciate the clarity and lightness that comes with a few alcohol-free days. You’re welcome just as you are, and there’s no pressure — simply an invitation to feel your best.

• Do most people come alone, or with friends/partners?
Most guests come alone, and it’s one of the beautiful things about the retreat — people arrive solo but quickly feel connected and at ease. Friends and couples are very welcome too, and the group blends together naturally.
